Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our legal team in a role supporting the Chief Legal Officer and Associate General Counsel. The attorney will draft legal documents, perform research, manage templates and corporate records, and prepare correspondence under limited supervision.

The successful candidate will draft and review contracts, provide counsel to staff on business objectives and policy implications, and participate in regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (ABA-accredited) degree required; admission to practice law is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research statutes, judicial decisions, and contracts to inform Navitus decisions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization.
• Prepare memorandums and legal correspondence as needed.
• Provide guidance on legal issues and ensure staff understand applicable policies.
• Provide legal counsel to Navitus staff on business objectives and regulatory matters.
• File legal documents and correspondence in digital and physical systems.
• Develop processes for indexing, filing, and managing contracts.
• Support other departments on contracts, operations, and regulatory affairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
