Job summary

Prescryptive Health, Inc. is seeking a Contract Clinical Services Support Technician to maintain clinical drug lists and PA documents, resolving setup questions and preparing client materials. Remote within the U.S., 8-hour shifts, 9–12 month contract, $20–$40 per hour.

The role requires CPhT certification, 3 years of pharmacy tech experience, PBM exposure, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills to support clinical leadership and ensure accuracy in benefit information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active CPhT certification with state registration if required.
• 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• 2 years in a PBM supporting clinical services (utilization management, coverage review, prior authorization).
• Experience with mail order and specialty pharmacy operations, formularies, drug lists, and NDC identifiers.
• Hands-on experience with formulary databases and PBM platforms.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to compare data and prepare reports.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining claims adjudication data and client materials.
• Clear written and verbal communication to coordinate with pharmacists and teams.
• Judgment on independent resolution vs pharmacist review; eager to learn and use tech/AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize Medispan drug lists in the drug list management platform.
• Update PA coverage criteria documents with formulary updates and client customizations.
• Maintain QL rules and downstream client-specific changes.
• Investigate claim rejections related to drug list platform configuration and resolve issues.
• Prepare and publish coverage policies files and client drug lists under QA review.
• Establish QC checkpoints for PA updates, QL cleanup, and PA printing with pharmacist review.
• Analyze, generate, and distribute medication lists and reports for client reviews.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, operations, and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy via technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
