Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP seeks licensed attorneys as Independent Contractors to support our creditors' rights practice across New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Remote work with 30–40 hours weekly on a part-time to near-full-time basis; multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities include managing cases, drafting pleadings, appearances at hearings, and ensuring compliance with laws and client requirements. Per-case or hourly compensation; equipment provided and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active law license in good standing in at least one covered state (NY/PA/OH).
• Experience in foreclosure, creditors' rights, litigation, mortgage default servicing, or related practice areas preferred.
• Strong written communication and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Juris Doctor from ABA-accredited law school.
• Prior creditors' rights or civil litigation experience preferred; new admittees with strong training will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of creditors' rights matters from referral through resolution.
• Draft, review, and approve pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, and other documents.
• Provide legal oversight on foreclosure and collections matters.
• Appear at hearings and court proceedings as required, in person or remotely.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, investor guidelines, and client standards.
• Review strategy, assess risks, and communicate status to teams and clients.
• Maintain documentation in case management systems.
• Support legal workflow improvements and client service delivery.
