Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP is seeking licensed attorneys to provide legal services as Independent Contractors supporting our judicial foreclosure and creditors' rights practice in New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Part-time to near-full-time contract role, 30-40 hours per week with flexible scheduling and remote work options.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload, drafting pleadings, appearing at hearings, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with clients.

Qualifications

Active law license in good standing in at least one covered state (NY/PA/OH).
Experience in foreclosure, creditors' rights, litigation, mortgage default servicing or related practice areas.
Strong written communication and case management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned caseload of creditors' rights matters, including foreclosure, collections, bankruptcy, title, eviction and related activities.
Draft, review, and approve pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, and other legal documents in accordance with state laws and rules.
Provide legal oversight and guidance on foreclosure proceedings and related matters.
Appear at hearings, mediations, conferences, trials, and other court proceedings as required, remotely or in person as applicable.
Ensure case activity complies with federal and state laws, investor guidelines, and client standards.
Review legal strategy, assess risks, and facilitate timely resolutions of matters.
Communicate case status and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
Maintain accurate documentation in the firm’s case management systems.
