Job summary

LOGS Legal Group LLP seeks a Contract Attorney in creditors' rights to support foreclosure and collections matters across multiple states. This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and 30–40 hours per week, with remote work and jurisdictional court appearances as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD, be licensed in at least one covered state, and have strong research, drafting, and case management skills to handle high-volume matters efficiently.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school or equivalent.
• Active license in good standing in NC, TN, NY, PA, OH, or other covered states.
• Experience in foreclosure, creditors' rights, litigation, or related practice areas.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage deadlines across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned creditors' rights matters from referral through resolution.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, notices, and other legal documents per state rules.
• Provide guidance on foreclosure proceedings and related litigation.
• Appear at hearings or conferences remotely or in person as jurisdiction permits.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and investor requirements.
• Review strategy, assess risks, and communicate updates to clients and teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in case management systems.
• Support workflow improvements in legal processes.
