BRMi is seeking a Content Modernization Author/Content Development Specialist to support Navy Federal's Enterprise Knowledge Management. You will modernize and standardize content, improve usability, and ensure governance compliance.

The role partners with SMEs and content owners to transform existing material into high-quality knowledge assets for frontline employees and AI-ready experiences. The position emphasizes strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications or a related field.
• Experience creating, editing, or managing business, operational, instructional, or knowledge content.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs to document processes and procedures.
• Ability to organize complex information into concise documentation.
• Familiarity with content standards, templates, style guides, or governance frameworks.
• Strong editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and modernize content according to EKM standards.
• Rewrite and restructure content using approved AI-enabled templates and taxonomy.
• Collaborate with SMEs to validate content accuracy and business intent.
• Ensure content follows plain-language and user-centered design.
• Apply metadata, tagging, and governance standards to support search and AI readiness.
• Participate in inventories, audits, and gap analyses of content portfolios.
• Align content with migration requirements for future platform moves.
• Support testing and remediation for content modernization initiatives.
• Assist quality assurance to ensure content meets EKM standards.
• Track progress and maintain status reports for stakeholders.
