Southland Industries, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting for a remote business unit. The role emphasizes building strategic recruiting plans, sourcing candidates through diverse channels, and delivering a top-tier candidate experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction recruiting experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel to corporate CA offices and events is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers to understand needs and sell opportunities.
• Knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who initiates improvements.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Familiarity with Workday and candidate sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and TA leadership to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, passive search, internal talent communities, and employee referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
• Coordinate interview scheduling with TA Coordinators, Hiring Managers, and Candidates.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Workday).
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience and provide timely updates and feedback.
• Forecast talent needs and help deploy strategic recruiting plans.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruiting.
