Southland Industries is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruiting for a designated business unit, with a focus on Service Sales. This remote role requires collaboration with TA leadership and hiring managers to forecast needs and craft effective strategies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of recruiting in construction, strong communication, and a passion for connecting talent with exciting opportunities across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry.
• Ability to "talk the same language" and partner with hiring managers to understand needs, using that insight to effectively sell opportunities to candidates.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques, including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative to identify improvements.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and candidate sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, passive search, internal talent communities, and employee referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
• Work with TA Coordinators, Hiring Managers, and Candidates for interview scheduling.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Workday).
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience by communicating proactively throughout the recruitment process and providing timely updates and feedback.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to forecast talent needs and deploy strategic recruiting plans.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruiting to continuously improve processes.
