GEP Worldwide is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager – Construction Services to support complex capital and construction programs for a key client. The role emphasizes technical and commercial leadership in construction services, MEP, and capital projects across the US.

Ideal candidates have an engineering background with strong sourcing expertise, and experience with EPC/EPCM or major infrastructure programs. Remote, nationwide opportunities with consulting-style client engagements are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline required.
• Experience across construction, capital projects, engineering procurement, EPC/EPCM or major infrastructure programs.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, RFP execution, bid analysis, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and construction documentation.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Structured problem-solving and executive communication in a consulting environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead procurement and sourcing activities across construction services and capital projects.
• Identify volumes, timelines, and bottlenecks with engineering, QA, production and testing.
• Translate requirements into RFPs, sourcing strategies, and long-term plans.
• Manage end-to-end RFI/RFP processes including bid evaluation and negotiations.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluation with stakeholders.
• Challenge specifications for value engineering and cost optimization.
• Lead contractor and supplier negotiations on pricing and terms.
• Assess supplier capability, delivery risk, and project dependencies.
• Advise client stakeholders on sourcing strategy and risks.
• Deliver consulting-style recommendations to clients.
• Partner with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to drive delivery.
