Strategic Sourcing Construction Manager – PA/NJ/NY

As part of the global strategic sourcing team, this role is responsible for sourcing activities for construction services for the execution of building new plants. The responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies and contracts to execute objectives.

Responsibilities

• Work with Global Product teams to achieve goals.
• Develop strategies and lead the negotiations for assigned categories.
• Develop supply base intelligence strategies to ensure the company benefits from the latest supply offerings.
• Effectively utilize e-Sourcing tools to receive quotes and proposals.
• Lead sourcing reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate supply, price, or agreements to support competitive offerings.
• Manage suppliers and relationships, and act as an escalation point for supplier interface for project execution issues when relevant.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and contracting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; MBA degree is a plus.
• 7 years of experience involving EPC & construction contracting.
• Second language is a plus.
• Travel less than 20% – including international.
