Job summary

GEP Worldwide is seeking a Sourcing Lead – Construction Services to guide client engagements across construction and facilities spend. You will translate requirements into robust sourcing strategies, run RFx events, negotiate terms, and deliver measurable value in a client-facing role within our managed services practice.

You’ll lead multiple sourcing streams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to playbooks and templates while partnering with legal, finance, and engineering teams to meet

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement consulting, or category management with exposure to construction/capital projects.
• Proven experience sourcing construction services, EPC, MEP, civil works, or facilities management.
• Strong understanding of construction contracting models (lump sum, cost-plus, EPC).
• Demonstrated success in complex commercial negotiations and supplier management.
• Experience with digital sourcing tools or procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives (market assessment, RFIs/RFPs, negotiations, supplier recommendations).
• Design and execute competitive bidding events for construction services with multi-round negotiations.
• Develop negotiation strategies focused on cost optimization and risk mitigation.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and compliance with contracts and governance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution across projects.
