Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure seeks a Construction Sales Engineer to support the Boston MA market and surrounding area. You will own project-based revenue growth by developing relationships across the construction ecosystem and positioning Siemens low- and medium-voltage distribution solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

You will develop strategic territory and account plans, build a qualified pipeline, and deliver disciplined forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5+ years in power distribution sales, engineering, or project management.
• Experience managing accounts and developing project-based opportunities with electrical contractors, consulting engineers, distributors, or similar clients.
• Working knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution products such as switchboards, busway, switchgear, panelboards, MCCs, circuit breakers, safety switches, or related equipment.
• Ability to build customer relationships, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and partner across internal teams to support customer outcomes.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid U.S. driver’s license and travel up to 10%.
• Experience using sales tools or CRM platforms to manage pipeline, forecast opportunities, and document account activity.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and market share with accountability for measurable sales results.
• Develop and drive sales plans prioritizing target customers and project pursuits.
• Build a qualified project pipeline and maintain accurate opportunity data and forecast updates.
• Engage across the full construction project lifecycle—from design through bid, award, and execution.
• Build trusted relationships with consulting engineers, electrical contractors, owners, developers, and distributors.
• Influence basis-of-design and project specifications with early technical and commercial guidance.
• Coordinate with Siemens teams on opportunity qualification, strategy, and pursuit follow-through.
