Placements24 is seeking a Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support the project management team from anywhere in South Africa. You will organize project documentation, track progress, and coordinate communications with stakeholders to ensure smooth administrative flow.

This role emphasizes proactive work, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a virtual construction environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with virtual collaboration tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and directing project activities.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and correspondence, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Track project progress and milestones, alerting the project manager to potential delays or issues.
• Coordinate communication between the project team, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Schedule and coordinate virtual meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
• Process project-related invoices and expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
