Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join remotely, coordinating multiple projects across various regions. You will review estimates, drawings, and site instructions, flag discrepancies, and push answers through to resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction projects, ideally in mechanical/plumbing/sheet metal sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, estimates, and site instructions.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail when spotting differences between quotes, drawings and specs.
• Proactive, independent worker who flags issues early and follows through.

Responsibilities

• Take over awarded jobs from estimating and review estimates, plans, and site instructions.
• Compare the quote against each set of drawings and flag mismatches.
• Raise questions early when something looks off, and follow up until it is resolved.
• Make sure approved changes appear in shop drawings and other documents sent to the general contractor.
• Keep the general contractor informed of changes once cleared internally.
• Collect site updates and turn them into structured reports for upper management.
• Help schedule meetings and track field staff whereabouts.
• Prepare or review requests from project managers so work is ready each morning.
• Manage several active projects simultaneously and support estimating with tasks when needed.
