New Lyfe Accounting seeks a Controller responsible for managing client accounting operations and owning financial statements and WIP reports. The role emphasizes data integrity, timeliness, and delivering high-quality financial data in a fully remote setting.

You will partner with the Staff Accountant, support multiple clients in a fast-paced environment, and lead a team to ensure accurate reporting and client satisfaction. Remote, autonomous, growth-minded role with clear expectations.

Qualifications

• Five years of accounting experience required.
• Two years of construction-specific accounting experience required.
• Accounting degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel/GSuite.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of financial reporting, including the WIP.
• Process evaluation and improvements.
• Overseeing other accounting functions.
