Job summary

SinWaves, Inc., dba LYT is seeking a Controller to oversee Finance and Accounting operations from a remote location in the USA. The role partners with an external accounting firm to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will drive resource allocation decisions and provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive finance experience, an undergraduate degree in finance or accounting, and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Ability to summarize complex financial data for leaders.
• CPA preferred or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements from external firm and investigate variances.
• Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Provide data-driven analysis for leadership decisions.
• Track and monitor cash balances and cash flow; coordinate cash management activities.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Serve as primary point of contact for external accounting, tax, banking and financial service providers.
• Support processes like pricing, RFPs, budget development and M&A inputs.
