Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support EPC operations across warranty, emerging technologies, and field deployment. The role begins as a contingent position with potential to become permanent and involves remote work with travel to active sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering data flow, managing RFIs, reviewing drawings, and assisting with pile load testing during initial design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or a closely related technical field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience with guidance toward independent execution.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willing to pursue.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
• Foundational understanding of pile load testing and engineering documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation across workflows.

Responsibilities

• Warranty forensics: collect field data, document concerns, and track issues.
• Emerging technologies: assist GPS machine control and drone-based data workflows.
• Construction engineering support during operations: manage RFIs and drawing updates.
• Pile load testing: coordinate, document procedures, and relay results to engineers.
• General engineering: drive constructability reviews and SOP improvements.
