Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support EPC operations remotely with travel across the U.S. The role focuses on coordinating engineering information, documenting processes, and assisting in warranty, technology deployment, and pile load testing activities.

Responsibilities include managing RFIs, drawing updates, constructability reviews, and field data collection to ensure on-time project delivery. Ideal candidates have a engineering degree and 0–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; EIT preferred.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience; willingness to pursue certification.
  • Strong ability to read/interpret engineering drawings (civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical).
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, pile load testing, and engineering documentation.
  • High attention to detail and disciplined documentation across workflows.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel; exposure to CAD, GIS, drone tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather field data, photos, as-built info to support warranty evaluations.
  • Coordinate engineering input for remediation plans; communicate actions to teams.
  • Support deployment of new construction technologies (GPS, drones, machine control).
  • Maintain engineering document control; manage RFIs and drawing updates.
  • Monitor deliverable timelines and identify at-risk items; support mitigation with partners.
  • Assist with pre-construction pile load testing logistics and data tracking.
  • General engineering tasks: drawing comparisons, plan reviews, constructability input.
