Job summary

Aon is seeking an experienced Construction Claim Advocate to represent general contractors and construction clients through the claim and dispute-resolution process, focusing on general liability claims, coverage analysis, and risk-transfer strategies. This remote-based role may work virtually or from an Aon office, with a salary range of $140,000 to $200,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial insurance or construction claims roles.
• Experience with job-site accidents, coverage analysis, risk transfer.
• New York Labor Law familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent general contractors on construction GL claims including job-site accidents and casualty matters.
• Coordinate with insurers, TPAs, and defense and coverage counsel to assess liability and develop resolution strategies.
• Analyze coverage and contracts to maximize insurance recovery and indemnity provisions.
• Develop risk-transfer strategies including contractual indemnification and additional insured coverage.
• Support claims involving construction defects and completed operations and litigated matters.
