Aon plc is seeking an experienced Construction Claim Advocate to represent general contractors and construction clients through the claim and dispute-resolution process. You will evaluate coverage, assist with risk transfer, coordinate with insurers and defense counsel, and manage complex liability matters.

The role is remote-based with the option to work virtually or from an Aon office. Aon emphasizes responsiveness, collaboration, and delivering practical, clear guidance to improve outcomes

Formación

• 7+ years of commercial insurance, construction claims, carrier, TPA, brokerage, legal, or risk-management experience.
• Direct experience with claims involving job-site accidents, coverage analysis, contractual risk transfer, construction defect, and/or litigated construction claims preferred.
• New York Labor Law experience (e.g., 200, 240(1), 241(6)) preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within four months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Advocate for general contractors and construction clients through the claim and dispute-resolution process.
• Evaluate coverage and risk-transfer opportunities; coordinate with insurers and defense counsel.
• Analyze coverage and contracts, including indemnity provisions and additional insured status.
• Develop risk-transfer strategies and coordinate tenders to subcontractors and insurers.
• Support defects and completed operations claims; manage litigated matters and settlements.
• Translate complex liability and contract issues into clear recommendations; maintain claim documentation.
