Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Conflict Review Lawyer to join the US Compliance team. This role protects the firm by identifying and mitigating conflicts of interest for matters, hires, and initiatives while ensuring adherence to US and global standards.

The position may be performed remotely from states where the firm operates, with some on-site attendance as needed; requires after-hours and on-call rotation. Strong supervisory and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in one or more States (US).
• Experience working as a lawyer.
• Thorough knowledge of US conflicts rules is highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to supervise workflow of junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Advise partners, lawyers, and the Global Compliance Team on conflicts of interest, including legal, ethical, and commercial considerations.
• Supervise the workflows and work products of at least two Compliance Analysts.
• Interact with Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP Management to resolve conflicts related to new matters, lateral hires, or business development.
• Drive conflict issues to full resolution and manage a docket of 15–30 matters.
• Assist with enforcement of Global Practice Standards covering stock dealings, sanctions, AML, cyber security concerns.
