Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance Lawyer (Conflicts) to join the US Compliance Team. The role protects the firm by identifying and mitigating conflicts before new matters, lateral hires, or business initiatives proceed, in alignment with US and global standards.

The successful candidate will supervise two Analysts, coordinate with global teams, and manage a 15–30 matter docket while advising partners and management on ethical, regulatory, and commercial risk

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in at least one US state (CA preferred).
Experience as a practicing lawyer.
Strong knowledge of US conflicts rules.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to supervise two analysts.

Responsibilities

Advise partners and the Global Compliance Team on conflicts of interest and related considerations.
Supervise workflows and at least two Compliance Analysts to ensure timely output.
Interact with Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP management to resolve conflicts in new matters or hires.
Drive conflict issues to full resolution and manage a docket of 15–30 matters.
Coordinate with global Compliance Teams and review client relationship letters.
Address policies on share dealing and other compliance issues.
