Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to manage conflicts screening and reporting for new clients and matters. You will conduct conflict searches, review workflow submissions, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve potential conflicts of interest while documenting processes for compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in a professional services environment and experience with Intapp; familiarity with bankruptcy guidelines is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience required, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Previous experience with Intapp required.
• Experience following bankruptcy guidelines and related rules with respect to conflicts processing preferred.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.
• Ability to perform effectively with moderate supervision and within established time limits and on-going deadlines.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally and provide exceptional service.
• Ability to respond to requests requiring analysis and decision making for new clients/matter processing.

Responsibilities

• Process conflict searches for daily new client and new matter requests in a timely manner.
• Perform detailed corporate research using various search resources and analyze information from press releases and historical references.
• Review Intapp Open workflow requests to ensure key information is included for processing.
• Provide review of Conflict Results Report to identify true conflicts based on guidelines.
• Research materiality of potential conflicts when appropriate.
• Research Conflicts Database and firm documents to ensure proper resolution.
• Contact stakeholders to clear potential conflicts.
• Communicate with the Manager regarding resolution of conflicts or areas of concern.
• Document and organize materials regarding resolution of conflicts.
• Maintain contact with attorneys and staff on conflict matters.
• Track status of outstanding or ongoing workflow requests.
• Handle special projects assigned by the Director of Conflicts Operations and Conflicts Managers.
