Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a new team focused on building configurable reports for expanding into new markets and jurisdictions. You will work across customer success, engineering, and product to translate client needs into scalable reporting solutions that support state-specific compliance.

You will design and implement reporting forms, scripts, and workflows, improving automation and reducing bespoke work while ensuring accurate, auditable data.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Excellent collaboration across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Build configurable reports that meet state- and agency-specific requirements.
• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify product improvements.
• Help establish engineering standards and best practices for a brand-new team.
