Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to build a brand new team focused on configurable reports that enable expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. You will work closely with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions and to ensure compliance reporting meets state and agency requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience working with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Help establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team that will play a key role in Mark43's growth.
• Write and maintain scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improve internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.
