Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new team focused on building configurable reports for expanding into new markets. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable reporting solutions.

The role requires experience configuring forms and reporting workflows, plus scripting in JavaScript/JSON.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience working with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Troubleshot reporting and compliance challenges and identified opportunities to improve the product.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand-new team.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.
