Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible supervisory position within a claims environment.
• 7+ years of complex claims experience.
• Licensed Adjuster for all applicable states or obtain license within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
• Professional designation such as CPCU or AIC are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims, ensuring effective workflow and adherence to standards.
• Provides technical guidance to adjusters on coverage, liability, settlement authority, and complex issues.
• Directs daily operations including staffing, workflow distribution, and coverage across multiple shifts.
• Establishes performance goals and service standards to support business strategies.
• Monitors quality and customer service via file reviews and QA reports to identify improvements.
• Ensures compliance with policies and DOI regulations; communicates changes as needed.
• Leads committee reviews and collaborates with cross-functional teams for decisions and efficiency.
• Supports staffing, budget planning, and resource management.
