Ez Health in the United States is hiring remote community health workers to assist seniors by phone, linking them to services and programs and helping with appointments, benefits, and medications.
You will work with a small caseload from home, with no certification required, daytime hours, and 28–40 hours per week. Pay is 28–38 USD/hour plus a performance bonus, with emphasis on clear communication, empathy and reliability.
Fully Remote, Flexible Schedule, $28-$38/hour
Fully remote $28-$38/hour Bachelors US EZ Health
Ez Health connects older adults with the care and support they need to keep living well at home. Our work is covered by Medicare through its Community Health Integration program, which pays for community health workers to help people with the things that get in the way of their health: rides to the doctor, paying for food or medicine, understanding coverage, finding help at home.
We're hiring remote community health workers to be that help. You'll work by phone with a small group of seniors, get to know their lives, and connect them to the services and programs that make a real difference.
Why This Role Is Different
A small caseload. Most of our community health workers support about 20 clients or fewer, so you can build real relationships instead of rushing through calls.
Fully remote. You'll work from home, connecting with clients by phone.
No certification required. Community health worker certification is welcome, but not needed to apply. Prior healthcare experience is welcome too, but not required.
What You'll Do
Most of your day is spent on the phone with your clients. You'll check in on a regular schedule, listen for what each person really needs, help them get ready for medical appointments and understand the next steps afterward, and explain benefits, coverage and medical information in plain, simple language. Then you'll make things happen: finding local programs for food, transportation, housing and home help, arranging rides, medication refills and meals, working with doctors' offices, pharmacies, insurance companies and community organizations, finding another way when the first option doesn't work out, and keeping clear notes on every call until each task is done.
