Job summary

Ladders client is seeking a Commercial Excellence Training Manager to shape learning strategy across a field-facing organization in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. The role emphasizes translating business priorities into practical training programs that boost sales execution and CRM adoption.

The position is remote for US-based candidates (no visa sponsorship) with a compensation range of $100,000–$120,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years in medical-device sales, clinical sales, or sales training.
• 2+ years designing or managing commercial training programs.
• Experience in regulated healthcare or medical-device environments.
• Strong instructional-design skills and understanding of adult-learning principles.
• Proven ability to facilitate impactful training sessions for commercial professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual training plans aligned with commercial objectives.
• Conduct training-needs assessments using multiple data sources.
• Define competency models and learning pathways for different roles.
• Translate commercial strategies into actionable training materials.
• Partner with leadership to enhance sales-process adoption and CRM use.
• Design and facilitate learning programs, including onboarding and skills training.
• Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback.
