Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to support the East region in a remote-capable role across MA, NJ, NY, and VA. You will partner with sales and customers to translate security needs into technical solutions and deliver compelling product demonstrations.

In this role you will drive evaluations, design test plans, and guide customers toward successful outcomes in a fast-growing cloud security environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and problem-solving.
• Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls.
• 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs.
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
