Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. This remote role requires active P&C licensing and a strongInsurance brokerage background.

You will lead day-to-day account management, handle policy administration, billing, and renewals, and coordinate service requests with a focus on accuracy and client satisfaction. Eastern or Central Time Zone candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business with focus on retention and growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
