Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin tasks, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy across policy management and billing.

The role requires an active P&C license, 3+ years in account management, and strong analytical and communication skills. Remote work is available for Eastern/Central Time Zone residents with some on-site needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience in insurance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Renewals, expirations, and policy administration.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals to clients.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect overdue balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
