Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager – Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business development. The role requires active P&C licensing and 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in the insurance industry.

You will lead day-to-day administrative activities, coordinate service requests, and maintain accurate data across agency systems while ensuring excellent client service and timely renewals.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required.
• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues with no errors or omissions.
• Lead the account management team and monitor activity to ensure timely completion.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
