Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer in a remote role with travel of 50–75%. You will work with Account Executives to design drone-based solutions, ensure successful onboarding, and drive revenue growth across utilities, infrastructure, and security sectors.

You will translate complex use cases into scalable deployments, run structured proofs of concept, and provide field feedback to product and engineering to shape future offerings.

Qualifications

• Active FAA Part 107 Certificate.
• Ability to travel 50–75% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives through the full sales cycle: technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and the technical narrative that differentiates Skydio.
• Translate complex use cases into operational workflows and scalable deployment practices.
• Run proofs of concept to a standard with measurable value.
• Guide integration and airspace strategy including REST APIs and data environments.
• Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and expansion.
• Provide direct field feedback to Product and Engineering as prioritized requirements.
