You will interpret policies, set reserves, and develop settlement strategies, working with attorneys, insureds, and medical providers.

The role requires 3+ years of auto casualty claims experience and strong analytical and customer service skills. Location options include multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate attorney-represented bodily injury and UM auto claims.
• Interpret policy language and limits within department guidelines.
• Must have 3+ years casualty claim experience in auto insurance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for settlements.

Responsibilities

• Examine provisions, endorsements and complex policy relationships to verify coverage.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies for settlements when communicating with insureds, claimants and attorneys.
• Attend depositions, mediation, arbitration and other legal proceedings as required.
• Document progression of each claim and set bodily injury reserves with accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with departments to move claims toward final resolution.
