Kemper is seeking a Commercial Casualty Adjuster – Represented to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate attorney-represented bodily injury and uninsured motorist auto claims with varying complexity across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires strong claim-handling skills, policy interpretation, and the ability to collaborate with attorneys, insureds, medical providers, and teams across departments to reach fair settlements and maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine provisions, endorsements, and complex policy language to verify coverage and make decisions within authority.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies for settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys.
• Attend depositions, mediation, arbitration, pre-trials, and trials as required.
• Document claim progression and set bodily injury reserves accurately.
• Mentor staff and provide training to colleagues.
• Collaborate with departments to move claims toward final resolution.
• Maintain customer-focused service and meet deadlines in claim resolution.
