Kemper is seeking a Commercial Casualty Adjuster – Represented to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate attorney-represented bodily injury and uninsured motorist commercial vehicle claims. The role requires advanced claim handling, policy interpretation, and adherence to state regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include examining coverage, developing settlement strategies, attending legal proceedings, and documenting reserves.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years casualty claim experience in auto insurance.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and state laws governing auto insurance claims.

Responsabilités

• Examine policy provisions and records to verify coverage and make financial decisions within authority.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies for settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other parties.
• Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trials, and trials; analyze bodily injury claims and research related regulations.
• Document the progression of each claim and set bodily injury reserves to maintain an accurate record.
• Mentor staff and provide training; collaborate with departments to move claims toward final resolution.
