Kemper is seeking a Commercial Casualty Adjuster – Represented to handle investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of attorney-represented bodily injury and uninsured motorist commercial vehicle claims. This role requires advanced claim handling, venue knowledge, and independent teamwork.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3+ years auto casualty claim experience, licensing where needed, and solid computer skills including MS Office. Multiple U.S. locations and remote options available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years casualty claim experience in the auto insurance industry.
• Must obtain and maintain state required licensing, where applicable.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite products and web based applications.

Responsabilités

• Investigate claims of varying complexity including policy language and limits.
• Develop a strategy to identify and resolve coverage, liability, injury, and property damage.
• Examine provisions, endorsements and complex legal relationships of the claim policy to verify coverage and make decisions within authority.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies when communicating settlement information to insureds, claimants, attorneys, body shop personnel, medical providers, and other parties.
• Attend depositions/mediation/arbitration/pre-trials/trials when needed.
• Document progression of claims and set bodily injury reserves.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with departments to move claims toward resolution.
