Job summary

Kemper is seeking a Commercial Casualty Adjuster – Represented to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate attorney-represented bodily injury and uninsured motorist commercial vehicle claims with varying complexity. The role requires advanced claim handling, policy interpretation, and adherence to state regulations.

You will examine coverage, develop negotiation strategies, attend depositions or mediations, document progression, mentor staff, and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years casualty claim experience in auto insurance.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies and state laws.
• Strong analytical, time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and negotiate represented bodily injury and UMP auto claims of varying complexity.
• Develop negotiation strategies and document progression; attend depositions/mediations/arbitrations as needed.
• Mentor staff, collaborate with departments to move claims toward final resolution.
