Job summary

Kafene is seeking a Collections Supervisor for a fully remote role based in Panama or Guatemala. You will lead a high-performing team, track metrics, and implement strategies to improve recovery rates while ensuring compliance and customer-first interactions.

The role requires a 2+ year background in collections or related fields, leadership experience, and fluency in Spanish and English. Excel proficiency and knowledge of collection laws are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2+ years in collections, customer service, or similar, with supervisory experience.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong knowledge of collection laws and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and collection management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate the collections team to meet recovery goals.
• Monitor daily collection activity and report to management.
• Develop strategies to improve collection rates and reduce delinquency.
• Handle escalated customer issues; approve payment arrangements, write-offs, settlements.
