Smart Start, Inc. is seeking a Credit Collections Assistant to manage follow-up calls and drive accounts back into compliance while coordinating with vendors and service centers.

The role uses Smart Trac for collection activities and operates remotely with necessary equipment provided. The position requires 3 years in customer service or collections, an associate degree preferred, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Three (3) years’ experience in customer service or collections.
• Knowledge of modern office procedures and computer equipment.
• Ability to interpret customer billing records and resolve errors.
• Strong written and oral communication, including difficult customers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Daily collection calls using the lockout report with detailed notes.
• Review past-due clients and coordinate installation readiness with Customer Service.
• Assess lockout credits and review client logs for billing decisions.
• Investigate billing issues and resolve disputes with customers.
• Monitor balances and initiate collection procedures per policies.
