Job summary

Wet Willie's in Fort Worth is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage high-volume delinquent accounts and drive timely recoveries. You will perform daily posting checks, respond to collection inquiries, and work closely with Sales and Accounts Receivable to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities include making collection calls, processing refunds and adjustments, reducing delinquency, and generating weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years corporate collections experience.
• Knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and goal oriented.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced collections department.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting to supervisor.

Job description

Responsible for acquiring reparations for debts owed to the company. Receives and post payments to accounts, monitors overdue accounts, and collects debt. Maintains files on the financial status of customer accounts. Responsible for providing accounting support to managers within the department. Check daily postings to the Survey Stars system, ensures files are complete and maintained as needed, and assists accounting personnel. Assist with bill out as needed.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• The duties of a Collections Specialist include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department.
• Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.
• Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
• Must communicate & follow up effectively with sales dept. regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with clients.

• Processing monthly credit memos and the appropriate reporting
• High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers
• Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due

Requirements

• 3-5 years High Volume Corporate Collections experience.
