Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD/DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This part-time, fully remote role combines clinical autonomy with strong operational support and a modern clinical infrastructure.

You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while mentoring clinicians and upholding evidence-based protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted US medical license across at least one jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and medication-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort delivering care remotely and using EHR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients with evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where permitted.
• Be available during agreed working hours and support PMHNP shifts per state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
