Job summary

Legion Health is seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth across the United States. This remote, part-time contractor role blends clinical autonomy with robust operational support in a modern clinical organization.

You will provide clinical guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while Legion handles recruitment, credentialing, scheduling, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort delivering care remotely using electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- to medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide chart reviews and timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted.
• Be available during agreed hours and during PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
