Job summary

Legion Health, a technology-forward psychiatry company, seeks collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines clinical responsibility with flexible schedule and the support of a modern clinical organization.

You will provide guidance, review charts, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where legally permitted, while Legion handles recruitment, credentialing, scheduling, and insurance

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• MD or DO board-certified psychiatrist.
• Competent in remote patient care and EMR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where legally permitted and clinically appropriate.
• Be available during agreed working hours and at the end of PMHNP shifts when required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards, documentation expectations, and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
