Job summary

Legion Health is actively seeking collaborating psychiatrists (MD or DO) across the United States to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth workflows. This part-time, remote contractor role offers clinical autonomy within evidence-based protocols and the support of a modern clinical organization.

Legion handles recruitment of PMHNPs and operational needs; you provide guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing where permitted.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience delivering care remotely via telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity patients.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide guidance on diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when appropriate.
• Be available during agreed hours and respond to shifts per state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's standards and protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
