Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in medical insurance reimbursement and coding related to charge review and work RVUs.
• Experience reviewing patient account information, insurance explanation of benefits, and financial records.
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation improvement practices and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinician/coder training and ongoing department education.
• Identify, develop and deliver clinician education related to coding and clinical documentation improvement.
• Conduct independent and collaborative clinician/coder reviews/audits and provide documentation to support the coding review work performed.
