Providence Swedish is seeking a Coding Quality Educator to assist with clinician/coder training and department education, and to help identify and deliver new training related to coding and clinical documentation improvement. The role may conduct reviews and provide documentation to support coding review work and education based on findings.

Qualifications

• National Certification from AAPC or AHIMA at one of the listed credentials.
• 5 years of experience in medical insurance reimbursement, medical billing, and coding related to charge review and RVU work.
• 5 years of experience reviewing patient accounts, insurance explanations of benefits, and financial records.

Responsabilités

• Assist with clinician/coder training and ongoing department education.
• Identify, develop and deliver new and ongoing clinician education related to coding and clinical documentation improvement.
• Conduct independent and collaborative clinician/coder reviews and provide documentation to support coding review work and educate based on findings.
