Job summary

Coding Quality Educator will assist with clinician/coder training and ongoing department education as well as assist with the identification, development and delivery of new and ongoing clinician education and training related to coding and clinical documentation improvement opportunities.

In addition, the role may conduct independent and collaborative clinician/coder reviews/audits and provide documentation to support the coding review work performed and educate based on findings.

Qualifications

• Required certifications listed; clinical coding education and reviews experience mandatory.
• Experienced in medical billing, coding, charge review and RVU work.
• Familiar with patient account information, EOBs and financial records.

• Assist with clinician/coder training and ongoing department education.

5 years' experience in medical insurance reimbursement, medical billing, and coding related to charge review and work RVU’s

5 years' experienced in reviewing patient account information, insurance explanation of benefits, and financial records
