Job summary

Qualifications

• National certifications in coding or documentation improvement as listed.
• Minimum 5 years in medical billing, coding review and RVU work.
• Experience reviewing patient accounts, insurance explanations of benefits and financial records.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinician and coder training and department education.
• Identify, develop and deliver clinician education on coding and CDI opportunities.
• Conduct independent and collaborative clinician/coder reviews/audits and educate from findings.

NCC Certifications (AHIMA)

NCDI Practitioner

NHDAB/RHIA/RHIT

5+ years medical billing/ coding review RVU experience

5+ years reviewing patient accounts/ EOBs
